Skin Tags And Your Blood Sugar

Is there a connection to skin tags and high blood sugar or diabetes?

Before I give you the answer, I want you to understand something. You should look at your skin as a mirror to your health and what is happening on the inside.

If your skin is dry, most likely your brain, organs and cells are dry too! They need moisture and lubrication to function at full capacity so you should take that seriously. Water and healthy fats would be a start here.

Skin tags are a sure sign of high blood sugar. Maybe you are already diabetic and just didn't know there was a link between the two.

Or maybe you are not diabetic and have noticed skin tags are popping up.  Take this seriously! You may be pre-diabetic or moving in that direction with chronic high blood sugar.

So what can you do?

First thing is to look at your diet and make sure you are not loading up on sugars and saturated fat, especially together.

This is the perfect storm for the creation of diabetic states.

Did you know in animal models, when they want to give rats diabetes, they feed them a very high saturated fat diet first?!

If that doesn't get the job done, they dramatically increase the sugar and without fail, it will do the trick.

So watch your diet, please. It's the most important thing you can do.

Supplements Can Help

If you want to give your body some support in managing blood sugar, there are a lot of clinically proven herbs and nutrients that can help.

Gymnema sylvestra, has been used for hundreds of years in India for blood sugar support.

This nutrient is known to help restore healthy blood sugar levels while curbing your cravings at the same time.

Biotin, which gets its name from the Greek word "biotos," literally means "life." You can't live without this, and is highly deficient in American diets.

A daily dose of biotin can help your body convert food into energy and metabolize carbs, fats and proteins more effectively.

Chromium. Low chromium levels can increase blood sugar, triglycerides (a type of fat in the blood), cholesterol levels, and increase the risk for a number of conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease.

It also, supports your metabolism and helps it to work faster on burning fat.

Manganese plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and specifically glucose. A manganese deficiency can impair the action of insulin and disrupt normal blood levels of glucose.

It also promotes healthy brain and nervous system function.

Licorice root contains amorfrutins which are known to have anti-diabetic properties. Amorfrutins also have many anti-inflammatory properties that helps keep diabetes-related conditions at bay.

It's also known as a weight loss aid, because it helps to control your appetite while being rich in flavonoids, which are said to prevent obesity.

Cinnamon has been shown to have positive effects on blood sugar levels. Several studies found that cinnamon might improve glucose control in people with type 2 diabetes by lowering blood sugar levels and improving responses to insulin.

Banaba Leaf has been shown to promote glucose uptake into cells and reducing glucose production in the liver. This essentially gets sugar out of the blood and into the cells to provide the energy they need to thrive.

Now it's important to note. One stand alone herb or nutrient can not do the job of bringing blood sugar levels back into balance. It's the synergy of all of them working together that makes the difference.

It's very important to use a product that uses the most potent, researched backed, and proper dosages of these ingredients together in a stand alone supplement.

That's why we formulated Optimal Blood Sugar. We don't want to simply remove your skin tags, we want to prevent any new ones from coming back as well.

So you finally have a natural way to promote healthy blood sugar while NOT damaging your long term health like some of the more conventional treatments do.
